So, this one is for all my D&D nerds, all my paladins and wizards and dungeon masters - and for my own players in particular, who are a huge part of inspiring this whole project.

Because of my background as a metal musician and a videogame composer, I use a ton of music in my own D&D games from awesome artists like Two Steps From Hell, Really Slow Motion and End of Silence - I guess it was only a matter of time before my players and the amazing story we have woven together inspired me to write some tracks of my own!
I wanted to evoke the heroic and uplifting fantasy battles that have fired our collective imagination, and to specifically write something aggressive and energetic enough to set the scene for a tense, high-stakes combat encounter. I would love it if other groups used these tracks as a backdrop for their own combats too - nothing like some epic metal to get the pulse racing and really make every die roll feel critical!

I'm excited to share these tracks, as they are the first piece of work I've been able to put together in about 4 years - I have lots of ideas for many more songs I would love to write, but I basically left the music business after New Project and it's super tough to find time to write, record and produce while also working full-time (and writing the odd videogame soundtrack along the way as well).
